Recently there have been several rumors swirling around concerning
Mickey Rourke and his face, people have said he opted for
plastic surgery and judging from the looks of these before and after pictures i would have to agree with them.

Looks as if Mickey Rourke had a rather extensive
facelift and maybe even an upper eyelid lift (blepharoplasty) to go along with it.

Well whatever he did, this is certainly a step in the wrong direction, in fact this is perhaps the worst botched plastic surgery case we've covered on this site, so far.

Mickey is one good actor and has much to offer and has already given much of himself in all of the characters he has portrayed in his movies. HE has much sex appeal and is still my kind of gentleman. (Perhaps not as some would think because he says it like it is) Way to go Mickey.
can't look at the photo long enough to comment - so absurd and scary
wow I am sure it took this man quite some time to adjust to a different face entirely from what he was born with. Loved him before, still do, but would love to have talked him out of the surgery, he was just fine the way he was,in my opinion. Isnt it sad Hollywood assumes when we get older, were less desirable to the general public? they need to understand ,we all age & expect our peers & favorite actors & actresses to do the same.
Are you guys not aware that he had a horrific motorcycle accident and had to have his face pretty much put back together again?
Way to go, make fun of people without having the facts.
It's from boxing, actually, but still...
Yeah after leaving acting for boxing he did pretty well. Except his face didn't do as well as his boxing record.
the man was never in a motorcycle wreck that resulted in his face getting f'd up. He had some boxing injuries such as a crushed cheek, broken nose and split tongue (ouch), he went to a plastic surgeon who disfigured his face even more. Mickey probley would have looked better if he would have been a little more discriminating about which plastic surgeon doc to use.
